LAZAN™ Premium performs hazard evaluation and classification according to the ANSI Z136.1-2022 through computation or measurements, computes hazards pursuant to conditions 1, 2, and 3 from the IEC 60825-1, and calculates visual interference hazards and distances according to the ANSI Z136.6. Laser parameters may be stored to disk, and printed as an extensive customized report, which may also be saved as text.
LAZAN™ performs over 50 calculations including MPE’s, NHZ’s, OD’s, and EN-207 L Numbers. Laser data is saved in a networkable database and displayed in a customizable table on the main screen. If you are involved in the use of lasers outdoors, then SKYZAN™ is the proper software selection. SKYZAN™ is based upon the FAA Advisory Circular (AC) 70-1B, as well as the Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE) limits and Nominal Hazard Zone (NHZ) concepts as outlined in both the ANSI Z136.1-2022 and ANSI Z136.6-2015 National Standards.
Calculations are performed for the for exposure zones: Normal Flight Zone Limit, Sensitive Flight Zone Limit, Critical Flight Zone Limit, and Laser/high intensity light free Flight Zone. Calculations include slant angle and vertical scanning range, as well as atmospheric conditions. Results include NOHD, AGL, and LHR.
