This lens cleaning tissues are made of an ultra-lightweight, porous, soft anti-tarnish medium. They are used for either dry cleaning, or cleaning with an acetone or alcohol-based solution, to clean and polish the surface of mirrors, optical parts, coated metals, and glass or to wipe coated primary mirrors free of particulates prior to laser use.
